Chisinau hosts regional conference of trade unions
The Regional Conference of the International Trade Union Confederation is held in Chisinau for the first time. It involves 20 representatives of trade union centers of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Armenia, experts of the International Trade Union Confederation and of the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova, deputy chairman of the Moldovan Confederation Mihai Hincu has said.
“We encounter such problems as the underground economy, the illegal payment of salaries and illegal employment. More than a million of Moldovans work abroad. The most qualified persons went to work abroad. The unemployment is a series problem, especially among the young people. This issue will be also discussed in the conference,” Mihai Hincu said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
The conference will focus on the conflicts at work and their settlement. Jurists will analyze different conflict cases and suggest solutions to them.
The International Trade Union Confederation brings together 311 national trade union centers of 155 countries and regions.
The event is taking place on December 14-16.
