A glass factory situated in Chisinau’s Ciocana district caught fire. Eight firefighting vehicles fought to bring the blaze under control for about an hour. Liliana Puscasu, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the fire occurred at 201 Uzinelor St. The call to the 901 service was made at about 1pm. Nobody was hurt in the fire. According to the firefighters, raw material poured out of the glass processing furnace, causing a fire. An investigation is under way.
