Chisinau Council to consider adjustments to 2008 city budget
At its meeting on Thursday, the Chisinau City Council (CMC) is due to consider adjustments to the municipal budget for 2008, including earmarks for sterilizing stray dogs, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In total, the order of the day comprises 302 items, including 7 decisions on land sale and a draft decision on the transfer of a building to the administration of the Council.
21 other draft decisions concern extension of rental periods, 27 are new rental agreements, 35 decisions concern privatization of plots adjoining private businesses, and most of them – 157 – are draft decisions on certification of ownership rights over property and land.
Additionally, CMC chair Eduard Musuc is to propose the modification of the Council's decision which ordered a halt to the reconstruction in the leisure zone Valea Morilor, with a view to resume works.
Earlier, Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca has stated he will ask the councilors to reconsider the provisions of the heating relief regulations that make the document financially excessive.
