The constructions with the name of Chisinau on them will be lit. A relevant request was made by Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca. He said that in the worst case the public lighting should start from these constructions, IPN reports.
”The lighting in Ciocana district ends on Colonita St, while on Calea Iesilor at the intersection with Ghidighici St.. In Botanica district we can also find a solution,” Dorin Chirtoaca said in the ordinary meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials.
According to the mayor, the results of the public lighting on the main streets are evident, but more work should be done on the secondary streets.
Nicolae Vereshko, director of the municipal lighting company “Lumteh” , said that seven streets in Chisinau are yet to be lit. The works will be finished by March 31.
As many as 73 streets have been lit in Chisinau so far this year.
