According to China’s Ambassador to Moldova Zhang Yinghong, the Festival “Martsishor” became one of the most glorious events in Moldova, serving as a platform for cultural and artistic exchanges between countries. Every year, China is taking part with artistic groups, dedicating different programs with authentic Chinese typical features to the Moldovan people.
“The relations between the two states depend on the relations between their peoples, while the relations of friendship between two peoples are based on profound understanding. Given that China and Moldova are open to cooperation, the friendship existing between our counters is a huge impetus to cooperation in all areas,” stated Zhang Yinghong.
Attending the event, Andrei Chistol, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, said the Chinese ensembles that took part in the “Martsishor” Festival so far every time made the audience stand up. The fact that the People’s Republic of China annually participates in international festivals says a lot about the cooperation level between the two states.
