Children of participants in Nistru war from Tighina are spending the summer in their homes
The children of the participants in the Nistru war, who live in Tighina municipality, are spending the summer in their homes because they fear the aggressions that might be done to them.
The chairman of the Republican Association of the Participants in Wars from the Republic of Moldova (ARPRM), Vasile Zaiat, declared during a press conference, that the numerous requests of obtaining tickets for camps, addressed to the local authorities from Anenii-Noi and Causeni, the Education syndicate, were unattended. The former war participants say that the Moldovan authorities must take responsibility for the childhood of those whose parents fought for the integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova.
According to the Nistru war participants, the former policemen and their families don’t benefit of other advantageous conditions, having no possibility to accomplish their rights as war veterans. These people, as Zaiat says, don’t benefit of social assistance, including financial help for funerals, they are not admitted to the hospitals from the city and don’t receive medical assistance.
The head of the ARPRM Tighina branch, Veaceslav Climacovschi, declared that he addressed several requests to the services in charge of this issue in the Republic of Moldova to assist the families of the veterans that live in Tighina, telling them about their harsh problems, at the hot line, even to president Vladimir Voronin. According to the quoted source, he readdressed the request to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, that, promised to solve quickly the problem regarding medical assurance of the participants in this conflict and their family members, but didn’t accomplish it.
According to Climacovschi, other institutions that he addressed said that the former policemen from Tighina must go to the local administration bodies. But presently, the former war participant says, only the Police Commissariat from Tighina is under the jurisdiction of Chisinau, and the peaceful forces and the head of Tighina commandment are under the total control of the Tiraspol administration. The quoted source says that the life in smirnovist Tighina of the former policemen is hard to imagine. In order to get hired, they must conceal their participation in the war for the Republic of Moldova, risking an unconditioned demission any time.
Requested by Info-Prim Neo to comment the problem of summer holiday of the children from Tighina, sources from the framework of the Education syndicate declared that all camp tickets are offered to the Confederation of the Syndicates. The responsible for this field, Aliona Borziac declared that the syndicates offer camp tickets only to the persons who work and pay taxes, or to their children. She suggested the reporter of Info-Prim Neo to address to the National House of Social Insurances. On the other hand, Galina Chilenicov, from this institution said that the camp places are distributed only by the syndicates.
The Counselor of the Ministry of Health and Social protection, Andrei Crusinschi, communicated for Info-Prim Neo, that any medical institution from the right bank of river Nistru will receive unconditionally any person from Transnistria if it will request medical assistance. Moreover, says the quoted source, these patients don’t have to deal with the existing bureaucracy, meaning they don’t need a send–note from the family doctor in order to see a specialist, to perform investigations or to be hospitalized.
Presently, in Tighina, according to official data, live about 40 families of former policemen. In reality, Veaceslav Climacovschi says, their number is a lot higher, but the people are afraid to make it public.
