A child in a locality of Anenii Noi district was sexually abused by two other minors, report locals, who say it happened a few days ago in the village's public park and the abused boy was hospitalized. Police confirm that a report has been registered but give no details.

"On November 29 this year, at 14:00. Anenii Noi police were notified about a case involving three minors. Currently, criminal prosecution actions are being carried out and a criminal case has been initiated to establish all the circumstances", Mariana Didenco, press officer of the Anenii Noi Police Inspectorate, told IPN. According to the source, the case is very sensitive, which is why more details cannot be given.

Representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office also avoided giving details. "In order to protect the best interests of the child, under the Law on the Protection of Children against the Negative Impact of Information, we cannot provide details on the case," Violina Moraru, in charge of the Prosecutor General's Office's communication with media representatives, told IPN.
