ÎCS Premier Energy SRL and SA Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord, within a workday of the signing of the new contracts for the purchase of electrical energy, will request the National Agency for Energy Regulation to adjust the prices, as the Commission for Exceptional Situations decided on December 5, IPN reports.

Under the Commission’s, decision, the Agency will examine and approve the regulated prices of electrical energy within three workdays.

Also, the Rybnitsa steel works will receive a permit valid until December 31, 2022.

Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spînu in a news conference on Monday announced that the electricity charges for December will decrease by at least 25% and will remain reduced throughout winter.

Recently, SA Energocom signed a contract for the supply of electricity with MGRES (Kuchurgan power plant) for December. The price of electricity for December was agreed at US$73. So far the electricity has been purchased also from other sources and at higher prices.
