The Christmas Tree began to be installed in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau. Workers of the Green Arrears Association placed the body and started to fix the artificial branches on it and will later decorate the tree, IPN reports.



The area that will host the Christmas Bazaar is also being festooned.



“We are making every effort for the winter holidays to be officially opened on December 23, when the lighting on the fir tree and all the decorations in all the districts of the capital city will be turned on,” mayor general of Chisinau Ion Ceban stated in the meeting of officials of municipal services.

A concert will be given on December 23 and this will involve Nelly Ciobanu, Brio Sonores, Cornelia Ștefăneț, Adrian Ursu, Natalia Gordienko. Romanian singer Ștefan Bănică Junior is the special invitee.

The program of the artistic events for the winter holidays will become known soon.
