The center of Chisinau will be inaccessible to traffic, including the public units of transport, on April 26 in connection with the staging of the first Marathon of Chisinau. The Great National Assembly Square will be closed for traffic at midnight, IPN reports.
At 04:00am, Stefan cel Mare Blvd, between the streets Toma Ciorba and Negruzzi, including the intersections, will be closed. Albisoara St (Circus) will be the termini of the trolleybuses travelling to Centru district from Rascani district. The trolleybuses travelling from Buiucani and Sculeni to Centru and Botanica districts will run along the streets Mihai Viteazu and Bucuresti.
At the same hour, Ciuflea St will be also closed for traffic, except for the intersection with Bucuresti St. Dacia Blvd will be partially closed, up to the intersection with Trandafirilor St (viaduct). The lane from near the shopping center MallDova will be open, while that from near Hospital No. 1 will be closed and reserved for the runners. The streets Trandafirilor and Hristo Botev will be accessible to traffic.
From 04:00am until 01:00pm, the section between the streets Tighina and Banulescu-Bodoni will be closed for traffic.
At 06:00pm, movement will be restored.
