Moldovan citizens will be able to obtain the certificate on sustained damage or absence of damage outside the Republic of Moldova as well, thanks to a new RCA digital service. The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) said it will facilitate the conclusion of compulsory auto civil liability insurance contracts (RCA) or optional auto insurance contracts abroad, IPN reports.
The document is available in Romanian and English and contains detailed information about the last five years of the applicant's contractual relations with the insurance companies of the Republic of Moldova, including the evolution of the bonus-malus class, details about the RCA contracts (internal and external) and the number of claim files in which the applicant appears.
The information is provided by the state automated information system RCA Data, and the responsibility for its correctness and transmission lies exclusively with the insurance companies or, as the case may be, with the National Bureau of Motor Insurers of the Republic of Moldova.
The certificate is issued electronically, through the portal RCA.BNM.MD, and contains a unique electronic identifier (QR code) that allows its authenticity to be verified.
