CEC registers last entrant to electoral race

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered the last competitor who will run in the November 30 parliamentary elections. This is independent candidate Anatolie Doga, who will be under No.24 in the ballot, IPN reports.

The ballot for this year’s legislative elections will include 26 contenders, 21 of which are political parties, one is an electoral bloc, and four are independents.

The 2010 parliamentary elections involved 39 runners, including 20 parties and 19 independent candidates.
