The Central Election Commission (CEC) in the morning of September 11 registered the initiative group in support of the candidate for President Igor Dodon, IPN reports.

Answering the questions of the CEC members, the group’s leader, Socialist MP Vlad Batrîncea said that Igor Dodon was proposed on the initiative of a group of people. The Party of Socialists has nothing to do with the organization of this initiative group and the absolute majority of the group’s representatives are not members of the PSRM.

The CEC also decided to register the initiative group in support of the Party of Working People’s candidate for President Sergey Toma.
