CEC: Presidential runoff vote will be held on November 15

The second round of the presidential elections in Moldova will be held on November 15. The Central Election Commission said none of the candidates polled at least half of the vote in the November 1 first round and a runoff vote will be thus held, IPN reports.

The runoff involves the first two candidates with the highest score in the first round of voting, namely: Maia Sandu, proposed by the Party of Action and Solidarity, and Igor Dodon, independent candidate.

The CEC approved the text on and model of the ballot for the runoff vote. The ballot will be 112 mm in length and 140 mm in width.
