The voter rolls for the snap parliamentary elections to be conducted in the domestic constituencies 17 and 33 are identical with the ones to be used in the same locations for the general local elections, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) said in a press release.
The snap elections are organized under the rules effective prior to the amendment of the Electoral Code, and so the CEC is not required to publish separate lists, the electoral body clarified.
As concerns the constituencies 48 (South Transnistria) and 50 (Europe), the electoral legislation allows voters to cast their votes at any polling station in the respective constituencies, and so these voters shall be included in additional voter lists.
Until October 19 included, voters may check out their presence in voter roles both at the physical locations of the respective polling stations and online at www.cec.md or www.verifica.cec.md.
