The Central Election Commission (CEC) on May 12 agreed the size of the interest-free loan intended for competitors running in the July 11 snap parliamentary elections. This way, for each of the political party, sociopolitical organization and electoral bloc, the interest-free loan is 50,000 lei, while for each independent candidate – 10,000 lei, IPN reports.

The CEC also decided the general ceiling of the financial resources that can be transferred to the election contender’s account “Electoral Fund” for the July 11 snap parliamentary elections. The cap is of 20 707 000.70 lei.

The cap on the funds that can be transferred to the bank account “Intended for the initiative group” for supporting an independent candidate for MP is 108 950 lei.
