The Constitutional Court will examine the Government’s request to determine the constitutionality of the Shor Party starting with May 10 and until May 17, in its meeting hall, IPN reports.
The Court noted that only invited persons will have access to the hall. The meeting will be broadcast live over the Internet.
The Government asked that the CC should determine the constitutionality of the Shor Party, saying there are arguments showing that the party, by all its actions so far, acted against the rule of law principles and endangers the sovereignty and independence of the Republic of Moldova. The Shor Party described the Ministry of Justice’s initiative as “one more serious abuse by the PAS government”.
