The local authorities of Chisinau on October 30 will stage a casting to choose boys aged between 8 and 11, who will be the protagonists of a video clip inspired by the works of Eugen Doga. The video will be produced within the project “My city of great dreams!” that was launched on September 28, IPN reports.
“We aim to produce a video inspired by the works of Master Eugen Doga. The master was delighted by this idea. He will also be there to see the children who will come to play his role, of Doga-child. I call on you, children, those who want to be actors, to test you skills or to simply come and see Master Doga,” Chisinau Culture Division head Lucia Culev told a news conference.
The casting will be held in the central park of Chisinau starting at 4pm. In case of rain, the casting will take place at the Library “B. P. Hasdeu”.
The project “My city of great dreams!”, whose objective is to discover and develop young talents, includes other activities as well. On September 30, starting at 2pm, the central park “Stephan the Great and Holy” will host an exhibition of photos, paintings and monumental sculpture with exhibits made at the summer camp “Art Fest” in Cuhnesti, Glodeni.
There will also be staged painting and pottery workshops, performances of music involving professors and masters and the launch of the CD Basul Capricios, which will involve Alex Calancea Band, Tania Cerga, Guz, Viola, Andrei Glavan, and Rupt.
