A carabineer and his stepfather were arrested when they were distributing drugs in Chisinau for these to be later taken by buyers, IPN reports.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases, the two worked for a drug “shop” that received orders through the Internet. Forty packs with PV drugs and 80,000 lei that was allegedly earned from trafficking in drugs were found during searches at the suspects’ home and when examining them. These were seized.

The prosecutors are to formulate charges against them and to ask for remand detention for the two.
