By 10.00 am, in the second round of the local elections, the turnout makes up about 7%, which means almost 110 thousand voters. In Chisinau municipality, 5% of the voters have cast their ballots so far - about 31 thousand voters, IPN reports.

Men have been more active in the morning, the ratio between men and women constituting 52.26% to 47.74%.

44.5% are voters between the ages of 56 and 70. This age category is followed by citizens between the ages of 41 and 55 - 25.46%. The following categories are voters aged 26-40 - 14.78%, 71 years and more - 11.76% and 18-25 years - 3.51%.

Election campaigning is strictly forbidden today. It is not allowed to conduct or reflect activities with electoral campaigning intent. The appearance of the election candidates on television or radio programs is also prohibited.

The polling stations are open until 9 pm.
