All businesses based in the Transnistrian region without exception will pay customs processing fees from August 10.
According to a press release issued by the Customs Service, until today, only businesses from the Republic of Moldova that have fiscal relations with the public budget system were required to pay customs procedure processing. A new legislative amendment changes this, ensuring equal treatment for all businesses importing and exporting goods and products.
The customs processing fee represents 0.4% of the customs value of the imported goods, but not exceeding 1,800 euros; or 0.1% of the contractual value of exported goods, with the cost of transport to the border included, but not exceeding 500 euros.
