Business Day to be observed in Chisinau for the first time
The Business Day will be kept in Chisinau on June 16. This issue was recently discussed at a meeting between Minister of Economy and Commerce Igor Dodon and a mission of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB).
According to sources from MEC, the parties plan to discuss the strategic priorities of the economic development of Moldova and promotion of economic policies; the assistance strategy of BSTDB for Moldova in 2007-20010; regional collaboration in attracting investments in Moldova; real opportunities in attracting investments in the industrial zones etc.
Representatives of the international financial organisations will be invited to participate in the event, as well as businessmen from Moldova and other countries.
BSTDB was created in 1994. The founders of the bank are 11 countries participating in the Black Sea economic cooperation Organisation. The purpose of the Bank is to effectively contribute to the transition process of the Member States towards the economic prosperity of people in the region and to finance and promote regional projects and provide other banking services to projects for public and private sectors in the Member States and trade activities among the Member States. Moldova joined the organisation on January 24, 1997.
The assistance strategy for Moldova includes financing trade and increase of exports, promotion of regional trade, promotion of new financial instruments, as well as mortgage and leasing.
