The works to renovate the bus stations in Calarasi and Ungheni towns have been completed, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure.

The building renovated in Calarasi includes a waiting hall, box offices and the mother’s and child’s room. There were repaired the sanitary, electrical, heating and telecommunications systems. A new waiting hall was built in Ungheni.

The works were performed in accordance with the plan to modernize the network of bus and minibus stations in the country, which was approved last year. So far there were renovated five such stations – in Calarasi, Ungheni, Straseni, Falesti, and Floresti. The investments came to 5 million lei.

In 2015 there will be renovated the bus stations in Glodeni and Cantemir and the Center Bus Station in Chisinau, while the North Bus Station in Chisinau will be further modernized.
