Two persons were rushed to the hospital following a collision between a bus and a car on the R-3 route near Ialoveni town on Monday morning.
Contacted by IPN for details, Mariana Didenco, press officer of the Ialoveni Police Inspectorate, said that the driver of the car, a 41-year-old man, allegedly hit in the back a bus driven by a man aged 42, who did not have passengers aboard. Both of the means of transport were moving towards Chisinau.
The drivers of the vehicles were not harmed, but two passengers of the car, aged 26 and 33 respectively, were transported to the Emergency Medicine Hospital in Chisinau, the press officer said.
The drivers were tested for alcohol and the result was negative.
The police are investigating the case in order to establish all the circumstances.
