The Bulgarians of Taraclia will celebrate Moldova's Independence Day with an official meeting, where the district leaders, professors of history and prominent personalities of the Bulgarian diaspora will deliver speeches and then will lay flowers at the monument of Stephen the Great, IPN reports.
During the day, local ethno-folkloric ensembles will perform in the center of the town. In the evening, the locals are invited for a pop music concert.
This year, the authorities in Taraclia decided to celebrate the Independence Day on Sunday, August 30, when a meeting and a concert of amateur artists is also scheduled.
