The Transnistrian administration announced that the baked goods of social importance will be cheapened by 10 kopeks (about 0.20 lei). The body responsible for antimonopoly policies took such a decision following a decline in flour prices, IPN reports.
According to the Transnistrian press, flour prices decreased by 4.5% - 8%, depending on quality. The most popular baked goods will cost by 10 kopeks less from December 1, 2016. A white loaf of bread will cost 2.4 rubles.
The profit margin on retailed bread must not exceed 13%.
