The local border crossing point “Soroca - Tsekinovka” stopped work in connection with the repairing of the boat that ensures transportation over the Nistru River.

The press service of the Border Police has told IPN that the repair works will last by March 10. The boat didn’t break down, but its parts are worn out and it was decided to change them so as to prevent possible risks.

Those who planned to cross the border through the mentioned checkpoint are warned to use the services of other border crossing points located nearby, such as “Soroca – Thekinovka” (interstate and “Cosauti – Iampoli”.
