Book exhibition at the Parliament museum: "Eminescu beyond the boundlessness of time"

The Parliament Museum is hosting the exhibition "Mihai Eminescu Beyond the Boundlessness of Time," dedicated to the great poet on the occasion of his 175th birth anniversary and the Mihai Eminescu Year in Moldova and Romania.

Until February 15, visitors have the opportunity to explore an impressive collection of over 130 works reflecting the complexity of Eminescu's oeuvre and personality, IPN reports.

Among the displayed titles are rare editions of the poet's fundamental works, including a collection encompassing his entire oeuvre, created to mark the celebration of his 170th birth anniversary.

Unpublished manuscripts are also present, such as fragments from the poem 'The Morning Star' and the unpublished correspondence between Mihai Eminescu and Veronica Micle, which highlight lesser-known aspects of the poet's life and relationships.

The exhibition also includes facsimile editions of Titu Maiorescu's volume 'Poems,' books translated into various languages, literary criticism works, and articles from contemporary publications. A special section of the exhibition is dedicated to Eminescu's musicality, featuring the ballet score 'The Morning Star' by composer Eugen Doga, alongside a volume with arias and romances set to the poet's verses.

The event is organized in collaboration with the National Library of the Republic of Moldova and highlights the literary heritage left by Mihai Eminescu. The exhibition can be visited at the Parliament Museum, and for appointments, the official website of the Parliament can be accessed: www.vizite.parlament.md.
