A corpse in an advanced state of putrefaction was found in a wooded strip near Criuleni town on January 1. The police were alerted by an inhabitant of the town.
Asked by IPN to provide details, press officer of the Criuleni Police Inspectorate Irina Burdujan said the police were called at about 2:30pm. A medical-legal examination is now performed to find out the cause of death and to discover the person’s identity.
Legal action was taken in this case.
