BCC launches contest for commercials about digital TV

The Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) announced a contest to select projects to produce social commercials to inform the population about digital television. The decision was taken in the Council’s April 1 meeting, IPN reports.

The social campaign is aimed at informing the population about the advantages and opportunities of receiving digital TV signal and about consumers’ rights within the transition from analog television to digital one.

“The BCC announces the selection of projects to produce social audio and video commercials within the campaign to inform the population about the switchover to digital terrestrial television,” said the head of the Council’s external relations and European integration service Iulia Gutuleac.

There will be accepted projects to make two social commercials – audio and video. The money for producing the commercials will be allocated from the BCC’s budget for 2016.
