A group of functionaries aimed to bring “Termocom” close to bankruptcy so as to afterward destroy it by fraudulent schemes and appropriate the largest and most profitable companies of the country, said the head of the Communist faction of the Chisinau Council Boris Golovin, quoted by IPN.
In a news conference, the councilor said that all the actions taken to make “Termocom” bankrupt are supported by Mayor of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca and his team. “The Communist Party will vehemently oppose the criminal acts of those who intend to bury “Termocom”,” stated Boris Golovin.
His faction colleague Victor Gurau said the merger of “Termocom” and the thermoelectric plants CETs, proposed by the Ministry of Economy, was necessary in order to hide the committed illegalities. “We have a corrupt system that aims to control the financial flows of this company, which total over 20 billion lei,” he stated.
On November 13, 2013, the Cabinet decided to create a new company by merging SA “Termocom” and CET-1 and CET-2. But the procedure wasn’t completed. At the end of February, CET-2 asked blocking the bank accounts of “Termocom” so that it could collect a debt of about 123 million lei. On March 18, the company was liquidated by a court decision.
