At least 31villages in 11 districts across the country on Saturday were left without power supply because of heavy rainfall and high winds. Civil Protection Service spokesperson Liliana Puscasu told Info-Prim Neo that at afternoon the affected districts included Anenii Noi, Calarasi, Cantemir, Causeni, Dubasari, Hincesti, Nisporeni, Orhei, Taraclia, Straseni and Comrat. Most villages were affected in Straseni – 7, followed by Orhei – 6, Nisporeni – 5, and Dubasari – 4. Repair squads were deployed to the locations.
