The authorities will provide explanations as regards the recreational activities that are to be restarted on July 1. According to Prime Minister Ion Chicu, after the National Extraordinary Commission for Public Health adopted a relevant decision on June 24, representatives of the recreation industry addressed a number of questions, IPN reports.

At the beginning of the June 24 meeting of the Cabinet, Premier Chicu said that all the economic activities are resumed on July 1, with small exceptions such as the nightclubs. He requested the responsible authorities to specify who can and who cannot restart work on July 1.

The official also said he was informed that the rules in the public transport in Chisinau are not obeyed. He instructed the minister of home affairs to mobilize carabineers at public transport stations, especially in the rush hour, to monitor the observance of rules.

Under the decision taken by the National Extraordinary Commission for Public Health, the public health emergency instituted for the period between May 16 and June 30 is extended until July 15.
