At least 4 singers, Dana Marchitan, Alexa, Rodica Stegarescu and Serj Caston, finalists of the national contest of the International Festival "Eurovision", will not participate in the repeated pre-selection. The composer and artistic director of the National Philharmonics, Marian Starcea, made statements in this sense. According to Marian Starcea, the singers consider unmotivated the repeated pre-selection, signing, in this sense, a Declaration about the violation of the Regulation of the Festival Eurovision. A place a part in the list of violations has the fact that in the final of 25 Februaries the jury did not choose the winner, and then the Organisational Committee started a repeated pre-selection and include in the list singers who did not attend the main selection. Marian Starcea notes that the whole scandal, unique in all countries-participant at Eurovision started from the fact that Arsenium will take part in it. He considers that it is up to the singer to refuse the offer in order to keep its name. There are mentioned as well other violations in the declaration, noted at the final of the national contest, including the fact that the phone number was not on the screen at the moment when song was sang, the jury did not have a list of points for the songs, which shall be signed in front o the public and authentified by a lawyer, but it was writing the points on papers unforeseen by the regulation, and then throwing them in a basket. In the same time, according to the Regulation, he noted, the cards had to be read by the chairman of the jury while shooting, but this thing was not done. Either the results of the televoting, or those of the jury were not announced during the show, fact that generated discussions about the faking of the votes. Marian Starcea considers that a way out of the created situation is that the winner to be announced by independent experts of the result of 25 February. Previously, producer of the band “Millenium”, Vlad Gorgoz, stated that many singers signed a contestation of the results of the national contest of the International Festival Eurovision and a Declaration to Organisational Committee. In case the declaration is ignored, the organisers of the international festival will be announced. Vlad Gorgoz, and as well Alexa and Valeriu Cataraga said that they would not participate in the second contest, in case when, besides those 13 finalists, appear new ones, promoted by influent persons. The singers consider that the organisers tricked not only them but also those 10,600 voters. This year Moldova is qualified automatically in the final due to 6 place gained in the edition Eurovision of last year with the song “Bunica bate toba”, sang by the band Zdob si Zdub.
