The executive decided to allocate 380,000 lei from its reserve fund to the Soldanesti District Council for providing astatine to seven families from Climautii de Jos village that have been affected by landslides this month, IPN reports.

A sum of 1.1 million lei will be offered to the Briceni District Council for purchasing dwellings to 11 families from Balasinesti and Beleavinti villages that remained without homes as a result of landslides. Each family will receive by 100,000 lei on average.

A joint commission created at the request of the State Chancellery on March 31, 2011 established that nine houses in Balasinesti were damaged, while another house was close to the steep bank. In Beleavinti, there were affected two houses. Four houses in Balasinesti are in a critical state. Seventeen persons live in these four houses, nine of whom are children.
