Apr. 5 ballot paper will contain 23 slots
The Central Election Commission (CEC) on Friday morning added three more names to the ballot paper – Alexandr Lomakin, Valentina Cusnir and Veaceslav Rosca, who decided to run as independent candidates in the upcoming parliamentary elections – and drew the line at the 23rd position on the ballot, as the deadline for registration with CEC expired on Thursday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
At this stage, the ballot paper contains 16 parties and 7 independent candidates, but the number of slots as well as the order on the ballot may still change as the competitors may withdraw from the race at any time.
The current ballot order, assigned by random drawing, is as follows:
