Appeals Court puts off examination of challenges to CEC decision for July 14

The Chisinau City Appeals Court postponed the examination of the challenges to the Central Election Commission’s decision to establish only 146 polling stations outside the country for the snap parliamentary elections of July 11, IPN reports.

According to the information posted on the national portal of courts of law, the civil lawsuits will be transmitted to another panel of judges chosen at random for examination.

Challenges were filed by the Electoral Bloc “Renato Usatîi”, PPPDA, PAS, PUN and AUR. The parties mounted even a protest before the Chisinau City Appeals Court on June 10.
