The annexes of the agreement on the constitution of the Pro-European Coalition, which stipulate how the posts are distributed, have been made public. Under them, the National Anticorruption Center (CNA) remains under joint control, IPN reports.
In annex No. 1 it is said that Democratic MP Igor Corman will be elected as Speaker, while his party colleague Adrian Candu as Deputy Speaker. Liberal lawmaker Oleg Bodrug will occupy the second seat of Deputy Speaker. The opposition will field a candidate for the third seat of Deputy Speaker. Democratic MP Raisa Apolschii was chosen as head of the legal commission on appointments and immunities, while Liberal MP Ana Gutu as head of the commission on foreign policy.
The annex also stipulates that the Liberal-Democrat Iurie Leanca will be elected Prime Minister, the Democrat Valeriu Lazar – Deputy Prime Minister for Economy, the Liberal-Democrat Natalia Gherman – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, while the representative of the Liberal reformers Tatiana Potang - Deputy Prime Minister for Social Matters. Eugen Carpov, who is politically unaffiliated, remained Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration.
Annex No. 2 provides how the posts are distributed in the Government and other central administrative authorities. Natalia Gherman was named as Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, while the Democrat Vasile Botnari as Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure, but the responsibility for this Ministry will be joint. Octavian Bodisteanu representing the Liberal reformers will serve as Minister of Youth and Sport, while the representative of the Democratic Party Monica Babuc will head the Ministry of Culture.
The Liberal Democratic Party is also responsible for the National Bureau of Statistics, the Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre, the Public Incomes Agency that is to be created, the Agency for Material Reserves, and the Tourism Agency. The Democratic Party is in charge of the Interethnic Relations Bureau, while the Liberal reformers of the Forestry Agency “Moldsilva”.
