Andrei Strah named deputy secretary general of Cabinet

Andrei Strah was appointed as deputy secretary general of the Cabinet. He will take up his duties on November 1. A decision to this effect was taken in the ordinary meeting of the Cabinet on Wednesday, IPN reports.

Andrei Strah was chosen at an open public contest. He has experience in designing and implementing projects, assessing programs, managing financial and human resources, which he gained since 2008 while holding executive posts at international organizations.

Also today, Petru Rotaru was dismissed from the post of director of the State Tax Service based on his resignation. A week ago, he was named minister of finance by presidential decree.
