"We have a historical duty to give up on everything that was harmful." At an event aiming to mobilize the inhabitants of the capital, Andrei Nastase, the candidate of the ACUM bloc for the capital mayoralty, urged Chisinau inhabitants to go to the polls, "to give the capital of the Republic of Moldova the chance to be in line with the other European capitals", reports IPN.
"We have a duty to be present at the polls on Sunday and to vote as our heart and conscience tell us. Sunday is the day when only the truth must prevail, "said the candidate of the ACUM bloc.
According to Andrei Năstase, Chisinau needs external financing in order to develop, and financing is guaranteed by Romania, the European Union and other Western development partners. "Everyone is looking forward to Sunday's decision and they are ready to support the development of Chisinau and all our communities. Chisinau must be won by those who want a better life, in a city fully connected to the network of European capitals”, declared the candidate of the ACUM bloc.
Andrei Năstase encouraged citizens to believe in the commitments that he made and to trust the candidates of the ACUM bloc throughout the country. "I am sure most of us value well-done work. We proved it and we succeeded together. Now is the time to build together and I assure you that everything will be alright”, asserted Andrei Năstase.
Prime Minister Maia Sandu, the co-chair of the ACUM bloc, has said that the political party is striving to change things in Chisinau. "I know how I will vote in the Chisinau elections and I know what needs to be done urgently at the City Hall. I know that Andrei Năstase has also the capacity to foil corruption schemes and will work with the councillors of the ACUM bloc so that our city can develop,” stressed Maia Sandu.
