"I am not only the elected mayor of the capital, I am also the legitimate and official mayor of Chișinău." In a press conference held on October 9, Andrei Năstase said that the cancellation of last year's elections cost the local budget about 22 million lei.
"Those who have contributed to the cancellation of the elections must pay for these expenses. The money must be returned to the local budget, as it is the money of the people”, said Andrei Năstase.
The ACUM bloc candidate urged voters to massively vote on October 20 in order to reconfirm the 2018 election victory. "These elections are crucial for the future of our country. We must be aware that the battle for the capital is decisive and we cannot afford to lose it”, said the ACUM bloc candidate.
Andrei Năstase said that the city of Chișinău must become a development model for the entire Republic of Moldova. "I am also addressing those who did not vote for me last year. The ACUM bloc has a serious project for Chișinău and it has the strength and determination to transform the city into the place where we want to live”, said Andrei Năstase.
According to the mayoral hopeful, voting for him on October 20 will put Chișinău in line with the other European capitals. "I ask all of you, as you did last year, to support me and the ACUM bloc once again", said Andrei Năstase.
