Andrei Năstase empowered to unite society: We will constitute council that will deliver expertise

The founding president of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPDA) Andrei Năstase opens talks with professionals from the country and abroad for creating a council that will offer expertise to the government. Năstase said the unification of society and of the political forces so that the Republic of Moldova overcomes the faced economic, energy and sanitary crises is the party’s key priority. He called on all the political forces and civil society organizations that share the same desiderata to take part in the talks, IPN reports.

Andrei Năstase said the National Political Council of PPDA empowered him to open talks with all those who have knowledge and can provide alternative solutions to the problems experienced by the Republic of Moldova. The goal is to constitute a consultative council that will offer expertise to the current government.

“Our priority is to unite society, as we did in 2015, when we took to the streets. Among our enemies now are extreme poverty, the incompetence with which things are treated in the Republic of Moldova, the lack of vision among those who obtained a very powerful mandate from the population, the deviations in the justice sector. In 2010, I struggled against Plămădeală who passed conviction sentences as on as conveyor belt in Buiucani and now he works at the Supreme Court of Justice,” Andrei Năstase said in the talk show “Black Box” on TV8 channel.

Năstase avoided naming parties with which a pact can be made, but excluded any cooperation with representatives of PSRM. He noted that after Igor Dodon congratulated the Transnistrian leader on his reelection, discussions with the Socialists are out of the question.

“I refer to valuable persons who can deliver results and these should not mandatorily be members of political parties. We have energy experts who could have been contacted by the current government. They should be engaged. All those who share our values are welcome. We will not exclude anyone from the talks on the formation of a broad platform. Later, we will set up a council that the government can consult, not as an appendage of the Cabinet, but as a body that can deliver expertise. PSRM will not be invited as we are not compatible with PSRM. We address all those who form the elite of the Republic of Moldova,” stated Andrei Năstase.

In the National Political Council of PPDA on December 12, it was agreed that the party’s Congress will take place on March 20, 2022. The Council also took note of the intention of the current acting leader of the party Dinu Plîngău to compete for the leadership of PPDA and offered him the necessary political support in this regard.
