The Government has appointed Anatolie Topală Secretary General of the State at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research. The candidate was selected based on a contest, IPN reports.

Anatolie Topală previously worked as director of the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation.

By another decision, the Government accepted the resignation of Laurențiu Hadârcă from the position of State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice. "Not everyone can keep up the firefighter pace, imposed on Government given the current state of affairs," commented Prime Minister Maia Sandu.

Similarly, based on the submitted applications, Vitalie Valcov resigned from the position of general director of the National Bureau of Statistics, while Ion Platon - from the position of deputy director of Moldsilva.
