Moldovan tennis player Anastasia Detiuc has won her first ITF Pro Circuit tournament. The competition’s prize money was US$ 15 000, IPN reports.
The 19-year-old athlete emerged victorious in Slovakia’s Trnava. In the final, she beat Russia’s Sofia Lansere in three sets. She lost the first set 5-7, but recovered and won the next sets 6-0, 6-3.
Last year, Detiuc won an ITF tournament in doubles in Prague.
