The General Housing and Amenities Division continues to fix chess tables in public spaces in the municipality of Chisinau. Four chess tables were set up in Ciocana district of Chisinau, while four more chess tables are now available in Vadul lui Vodă town.
Contacted by IPN for details, Irina Boțu, communicator of the General Housing and Amenities Division, said the chess tables were installed in Vadul lui Vodă according to the municipal project to lay out the area around the beach.
This year, there will be set up 25 chess tables in all the districts of Chisinau. A sum of 427,500 lei was allocated from the municipal budget for the purpose.
