Ambassador Jennifer Brush, the head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, hopes the formal 5+2 round on the Transnistrian settlement to start today in Dublin will further negotiations on the freedom of movement and the right to education. Jennifer Brush has told Info-Prim Neo that the OSCE also hopes to enter into more details about setting up the civil society and media platforms and the human rights sub-workgroup. Ambassador Brush said she was disappointed that Chisinau's and Tiraspol's Chief Negotiators Eugen Carpov and Nina Shtanski were not able to meet last week despite an agreement to hold meetings on a weekly basis. “I think the weekly meetings should be a top priority for both of them”. The sixth round of negotiations in the 5+2 format will bring together representatives of the sides, mediators and observers in the negotiations – Moldova, Transnistria, the OSCE, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, the US and the EU. The meeting will be chaired by Ambassador Erwan Fouéré, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transnistrian settlement process.
