All those who made statements about hunting in Domneasca Forest to be questioned
The commission of inquiry into the way the competent bodies handled the incident in the Domneasca Forest, which resulted in the death of a man, will question all the persons who made statements about this case. This refers especially to the leaders of the Alliance for European Integration, Vlad Filat, Marian Lupu, and Mihai Ghimpu, as well as to President Nicolae Timofti.
The commission’s chairman, Communist lawmaker Anatolie Zagorodnyi has told Info-Prim Neo that the hearings will take place in a week. Next week, the commission will discuss with persons who had been on the spot.
The meetings where the leaders of the ruling alliance and the head of state will be questioned will be closed. Anatolie Zagorodnyi said the members of the commission of inquiry agreed to allow the director of the Resource Center for Human Rights Sergiu Ostaf to take part in the meetings as observer.
The commission consists of four Communist MPs, three Liberal-Democratic MPs, one Democratic lawmaker and one Liberal lawmaker.
