The football club Zimbru signed its first player this winter. This is former international player Alexandru Onica, IPN reports.
The 33-year-old player left Zaria that is facing financial problems. Onica won Moldova’s Cup together with the team from Balti in 2016. He also became three times champion of Moldova, together with Dacia and Sheriff.
Alexandru Onica played 21 matches for the national football team of Moldova. In his career, he also played in the championships of Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
