Athlete Alexandra Emilianov reached the final of the discus throw event at the Paris Olympic Games. With the result of 64.33 meters, she ranked sixth in the playoffs, IPN reports.

In Group B, Alexandra Emilianov ranked fourth. The best result in this group was achieved by Croatian athlete Sandra Elkasevic, who threw the discus at a distance of 65.53 meters. In Group A, the best result was obtained by Valarie Allman of the U.S.– 69.59 meters.

Alexandra Emilianov will compete for a medal alongside 11 other athletes. The competition will take place on Monday, August 5, starting at 09:30 p.m. (Chisinau time).
