The Our Party’s candidate for mayor of the municipality of Balti Alexandr Petkov urged the townspeople not to stay at home and to go to the polls. “The fate of Balti is decided Today, November 19, and there is no exaggeration here,” Alexandr Petkov stated in a video.

“Whether a full renovation will start in the municipality of Balti tomorrow already or the city will waste again money on a new round of elections (rerun elections, e.n.) depends on each of you. Dear residents of Balti, go to the polls and don’t stay at home!” urged Alexandr Petkov.

The local runoffs are considered valid if at least 1/5 of the eligible voters mark their choice in each of the constituencies. The candidate who polls most of the votes in the runoffs is considered the winner. If the votes gained by two candidates are equal, the candidate with the largest number of votes in the first round of voting is declared the winner.
